Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about using ClaimPack for consumer complaint preparation.

About ClaimPack

What is ClaimPack?

ClaimPack is a free consumer complaint preparation tool. It helps you organize dispute evidence, build a timeline, generate complaint letters, and export everything as a professional PDF and ZIP pack. It is a document preparation tool, not legal advice.

Is ClaimPack free?

Yes. ClaimPack is currently free to use. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, premium tiers, or paywalls. You can generate a complete complaint pack without paying anything.

Do I need to create an account?

No. ClaimPack works without any account or signup. An anonymous session ID is automatically created in your browser so you can resume your work. No email address, phone number, or personal information is required to use the tool.

Is ClaimPack legal advice?

No. ClaimPack is a document preparation and evidence organization tool. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or outcome predictions. You should consult a qualified legal professional for legal matters. All generated documents include mandatory disclaimers.

Using ClaimPack

What types of complaints does ClaimPack support?

ClaimPack supports 12 dispute types: refund not received, defective or wrong product, warranty denied, subscription and auto-renewal issues, travel disputes, delivery failures, service quality problems, financial and banking disputes, rental deposit issues, insurance claim problems, education and course refund disputes, and a general category for other complaints.

What does ClaimPack generate?

ClaimPack generates a complaint summary, formal complaint letter, chronological timeline of events, evidence index with tags, evidence completeness score report, refund or follow-up email draft, escalation letter, and a downloadable PDF and ZIP bundle containing all documents.

How long does it take to create a complaint pack?

Most users can complete the wizard in 10 to 20 minutes depending on the complexity of their dispute and the amount of evidence they have. The AI-assisted features speed up fact extraction and draft generation.

Can I save my progress and come back later?

Yes. Your wizard progress is automatically saved in your browser's local storage. You can close the browser and return later to continue where you left off. No account is needed for this feature.

Privacy and Security

Is my data private?

ClaimPack is designed with privacy first. Personal information such as Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, bank account numbers, card numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses are tokenized before any AI processing. Evidence is stored in private storage. Telemetry and analytics are scrubbed of sensitive data.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. ClaimPack provides data export and deletion controls. You can export all your data or request deletion at any time. Data is designed for 90-day retention and is cleaned up automatically after that period.

What data does ClaimPack collect?

ClaimPack collects only the information you provide to prepare your complaint pack: dispute details, evidence metadata, timeline entries, and generated documents. It does not track your browsing activity, sell your data, or share it with advertisers.

AI and Technology

How does ClaimPack use AI?

ClaimPack uses AI to assist with fact extraction from your description, timeline suggestions based on your narrative, evidence completeness scoring, and draft generation for complaint letters and emails. All AI output is template-first and grounded in the facts you provide and confirm. Generated text is scanned for prohibited language before being shown to you.

Can I use ClaimPack without AI?

Yes. If AI features are unavailable, ClaimPack falls back to deterministic local processing. You can still organize your evidence, build a timeline, and generate a complaint pack using the template-based system without any AI involvement.

Does the AI make up facts?

The AI does not invent claims or facts. It extracts information from what you provide, and all extracted facts are presented for your confirmation before being included in the final complaint pack. You review and approve every piece of information before export.

After Your Complaint Pack

Where do I send my complaint pack?

Send your complaint pack to the company's customer support team, escalation department, or grievance officer. If the company does not respond, you may escalate to a consumer forum, ombudsman, or regulatory body in your country. The pack provides organized documentation for any of these channels.

Can I use the complaint pack in consumer court?

The complaint pack provides organized documentation that may be useful for filing with consumer courts or forums. However, ClaimPack does not provide legal advice, and you should consult a legal professional before filing a formal legal complaint. The tool prepares your documents; it does not represent you.
